Venue description
Kurland offers gourmet cuisine under the expertise of the Executive Chef and his team. At Kurland we cater to guests’ requirements with a number of dining options. From banquets at the Pavilion overlooking the polo fields, to the main estate dining room or perhaps an intimate dining experience in the Library or one of the private terraces.
Conference equipment
The Pavilion at Kurland is an internationally recognised event destination. The Pavilion is perfect for conferences, events, private corporate meetings, society weddings, exhibitions, product launches and corporate incentive programmes.
Facilities include:
Wi-Fi and Internet access, international plug adapters, high quality audio visual equipment including a data projector, overhead projector, TV and DVD player, photocopying, fax and email service, whiteboard and marker pens,stationery, flip chart,screens and PA system.
Accommodation
Kurland can accommodate up to 28 delegates (in single accommodation) or 52 delegates (in double accommodation) in the following room types- 8 Loft Rooms with private external access 2 Elegant Rooms with garden patios 6 Luxury Rooms with a private courtyard and a patio 4 Superior Rooms with a private plunge pool and veranda 8 Rooms in exclusive-use Villa.
Recreational activities
A multitude of team building activities are available on the estate such as walking/running trails, horse riding, tennis, quad biking and mountain biking. Additional activities in the surrounding area include golf, volleyball, canoeing and sea kayaking, gliding, bungee jumping, deep sea fishing, para-sailing, water skiing and many more water based activities. Kurland is also famous for its commitment to nature and the environment: Hiking, walking and enjoying the natural environment are very much a part of the Kurland character. Visits to the Elephant Sanctuary, Cheetah Rehabilitation Park, and the Tsitsikamma Natural Wildlife Reserve are just a few of the local activities that allow guests to marvel at the natural beauty of this corner of paradise.
